Lincoln Fashion Week has confirmed their visit to the London Fashion Week Festival, sponsored by Virgin Trains East Coast.

Lincoln Fashion Week sponsors and supporters will be “bound for glory” this month when they hit the UK’s capital in search of hot tips for the city’s very own style extravaganza.

Excitingly, Virgin Trains has offered Lincoln BIG – which is organizing the city’s special event – a first class carriage from Lincoln Central to London Kings Cross on Friday, 24th February 2017.

And Lincoln retailers and supporters – along with two lucky members of the public –will be enjoying the Virgin Trains’ experience by getting on board and heading off to the London Fashion Week Festival, which takes place from 23rd to 26th February.

They are determined to bring a wealth of fashion inspiration back to Lincoln to ensure the city’s very own fashion week (which runs from Friday 28th April to Friday 5th May) and features a dazzling catwalk finale in Alive Church, Newland, on 5th May, really dazzles.

Lincoln Fashion Week’s headline sponsor is the Waterside Shopping Centre and another key supporter is St Marks Shopping Centre.

Lincoln BIG Head of Fashion Week Jess Wickham said: “We are thrilled that Virgin Trains is linking its name to our special week and thrilled to announce that two members of the public have the chance to win a pair of tickets to join our train trip to London Fashion Week Festival.

“It is great that they will get the chance to experience Virgin Train’s direct service from Lincoln to London in less than two hours. You don’t have to be a commuter to benefit from Virgin’s great service to the capital!,” said Jess.

“To be in with a chance of joining us we are urging fashion lovers to head over to Lincoln Fashion Week Facebook or Twitter: @LincFashionWeek and let us know why they deserve to win two seats on our trip. People will need to enter by Thursday, 16th February at the latest.”

Natasha Wilding is General Manager for the central region for Virgin Trains on the East Coast.

“We are delighted to be offering a group of Lincoln fashionistas the chance to see the best of London Fashion Week Festival.  With the journey taking less than two hours there will hardly be time to kick-off their Jimmy Choo Choos,” she said.

Lincoln BIG is urging more city businesses to throw their weight behind what is the second Lincoln Fashion Week and it is also delighted to announce that tickets to the Lincoln Fashion Week finale are now available online at
